Wedding venue, check. Flowers, beautiful and ordered. DJ, he's awesome. Wedding dress, found years ago. Invitations, mailed. Have you registered yet? Creating a wedding registry, or multiple registries is an important to-do, to mark off your list. Why is it important? So your guests know what you really want. It is a misconception that registering for nothing will lead to only envelopes of cash.

Traditionally a wedding registry was filled with all of the items a couple would need for their first home together; china, flatware, towels, and bedding. Many of today's couples either already live together, or have on their own have a full household of essentials, so the traditional wedding registry is out. While I still reccommend that these couples register for some household upgrades (a shiny new Kitchenade mixer never hurts) at Target, Bed Bath and Beyond, or Macy's, here are some suggestions for some not-so-traditional wedding registry options.
