Our community partnership with Eden Hospice allows couples to give their wedding flowers a meaningful second purpose by donating them to hospice patients after the event. Abernethy Center coordinates all logistics alongside Eden Hospice's dedicated team. The floral arrangements are repurposed into smaller vases and then delivered to terminally ill medical patients. Abernethy couples can participate by opting in to flower donation with their Event Specialist.

HISTORY
ABERNETHY BALLROOM
It all began in 2001 when our venue founders stumbled upon the historic Oregon City Post Office, left vacant after a devastating flood. Recognizing its potential, they launched Abernethy Ballroom, our inaugural event space. Within the refurbished post office, laid the foundation for our future. A single-room banquet hall breathed new life into a historic structure. It was this modest beginning that ignited a two-decade-plus journey.
From the very start, a customer-centric approach defined our philosophy. The founders' vision was clear: to create a venue that exceeded expectations and crafted extraordinary moments. This dedication to excellence would become the cornerstone of our company culture.

ABIGAIL'S GARDEN
In 2004, Abigail's Garden blossomed into existence, adding a touch of natural beauty to our repertoire. This enchanting garden venue was meticulously designed to provide a serene and picturesque backdrop for weddings and events.
2007
VEILED GARDEN
2012
2007 saw the unveiling of Veiled Garden, an oasis of tranquility and romance. Its lush greenery and serene atmosphere quickly became a favorite among those seeking an outdoor setting for their special day.
ABERNETHY CHAPEL
Built-in 2012, the historically inspired Abernethy Chapel pays homage to the timeless charm of historic architecture. With its elegant design and classic appeal, it became a cherished space for couples seeking a timeless indoor wedding ceremony venue suitable for getting married any time of the year in Oregon.
The founders' vision, combined with our experienced team's dedication, has made Abernethy Center Oregon’s premier full-service wedding and event venue, with outdoor and indoor event spaces catering to various preferences and occasions.
