What happens if I test positive for COVID before my event?
Abernethy Center is committed to the health and safety of our clients, staff, and community. If you test positive for COVID in the days before your event, please contact your Event Specialist as soon as possible. The Abernethy team will work with you to determine the best course of action on how to proceed.
Are masks required?
Masks are no longer required.
In the Ballroom, is there an outdoor space or any chance of ventilation?
Our Ballroom has an HVAC system, so air is not stagnant. Our Ballroom also has a patio for outdoor use.
How is dinner serviced?
Dinner can be served either buffet or plated.
What are we doing to ensure physical distancing?
Tables are set with at least a 6-foot distance between them. Staff members who will be dropping off food, pulling plates, or bringing beverages to the tables will briefly be within the 6-foot distance, however, they will be wearing masks.
Is there dancing?
Dancing is absolutely allowed!
Will there be hand sanitizer?
Absolutely! We have numerous hand sanitizer stations throughout the venue for your use!
