WEDDING WISDOM: Plan to Livestream!

With gathering limits, travel restrictions, and pandemic health concerns — finding ways to include loved ones who can’t be at the wedding IRL is more crucial than ever.

The good news is that technology offers a plethora of options for incorporating guests virtually! Wedding Live streaming lets you share the intimate and memorable moments of your wedding with guests at home. There are free options available for DIY live streaming via platforms like Facebook, Zoom, or YouTube. But if your spending plan allows, I recommend hiring a professional, so your loved ones don’t have to worry about things like camera angles, sound levels, and possible technical difficulties during the ceremony.

Most videographers and DJs now offer a live streaming ad-on, not to mention specialists like Married Livestream who will take care of everything for you! See our full list of Abernethy Center Preferred Vendors.

Want to do something extra special for your virtual guests? Create a virtual guest celebration box to ship to their home. You can include a formal invitation with the online streaming details, a copy of your wedding program and favors, like a cocktail mix so they can enjoy your signature cocktail, or your wedding cake recipe formulated for cupcakes, even a sweet personalized note from the happy couple!
